Built on the banks of the Savannah River, and home to the international Master’s golf tournament, Augusta Georgia has boasted a flourishing Jewish community for over two centuries.
In 1996, the first Chabad center was established by Rabbi Zalman and Chani Fischer, to serve the needs of the Jewish community. Fast forward 26 years and Augusta is thriving. The need for additional youth programs has grown exponentially.
In 3 weeks Rabbi Mendel and Sarah Fischer will be moving to Augusta to establish programs for children, teens, college students and young professionals.
Best,
Mendel & Sarah Fischer
